About the team behind Cyanovation
Cyanovation emerged out of an idea. We realized the following:
The laptop we are working on, the TV in our living room, the phone in our hand- all of these devices connected us, empower us! On the other hand, all of these devices become part of
so-called "generated e-waste" of which currently only 23% is disposed of properly.
​
The remaining e-waste is often disposed inappropriately and affects the communities living closeby, especially in Low-and-Middle-Income Countries (LMICs).

Driven by this vision, our team strives to develop a solution which is efficient, sustainable and scalabe enough to balance economic interests with the ecological and social needs.

At Cyanovation, we strongly believe that change towards a more sustainable future can only be achieved with the people and has to always be for the people.

Integrity therefore includes the perspectives of currently affected communities, especially in Low-and-Middle-Income Countries (LMICs).
Sustainability
Sustainability is neither black nor white. That is why we focus on a solution which is sustainable out of an ecological, social and economic perspective as we believe that only while aiming at all of the three aspects, we can create a solution that will sustain sustainability over time.
